One of the keys to Quantum's success is the development and management of our network of service providers. We work solely with carefully selected providers who are our partners in care management. We have built our network on the simple principle that proper patient care goes hand-in-hand with favorable (and therefore cost-effective) outcomes. Working only with the best providers ensures a proper balance between compassionate care and reasonable expenses.

Because Quantum has built a national network, counseling and therapy referrals are available seven days a week for all subscriber employees and the immediate family members, across the country. All calls are handled promptly and with extreme care to ensure that the employee will receive appropriate therapy.

Our providers offer a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment, and come from a variety of therapeutic backgrounds; however, all are highly trained an credentialed, and are generally at the doctoral level in psychology. Participants in the Quantum Network must:

• Be licensed to practice independently in the state where they provide services
• Have achieved a masters or doctoral level of education
• Have received peer endorsement
• Enjoy a reputation in their community as an outstanding care provider
• Be committed to a goal-oriented psychotherapy model
• Work cooperatively with professionals from varying disciplines
• Comply with Quantum's UR/CM process
• Interface with Quantum's In-Patient Network
• Work with psychiatrists when psychiatric medication is indicated

Our In-Patient Network includes psychiatric units in general hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, chemical dependency recovery hospitals, and chemical dependency recovery services. Our network of over 300 facilities across the United States all have all met the following criteria:

• Licensed by the state in which they operate
• JCAH (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals) accredited
• Average length of stays at or below community norms
• Low incidence of patients leaving AMA (Against Medical Advice)
• Multi-disciplinary approach to treatment
• Comply with Quantum's UR/CM process
• Consider and develop new program models
